I have had the vinyl on repeat ever since I got it. The ending of Tartarus in particular is always breathtakingly beautiful. This entire album feels like an epic poem.

Une partie enregistrée entre 2013 et 2014, une autre entre 2020 et 2021 : qu'ils soient improvisés ou pas, les albums de Swartadauþuz sont indissociables d'un énorme travail et De Dunklas Sorgeakt (Ett Nordiskt Afvsked...) se situe bien dans cet esprit. Un ballet de 1h45 au cours duquel la mort et l'éternité dansent main dans la main, donnant lieu à un spectacle dantesque et majestueux, glorieux tant dans ses phases de tempêtes que dans ses interludes. Vraiment un des plus grands albums de 2022.
